| Halloween Esports@WCC 2026-11-03 | This past Saturday, Halloween, Sabres Esports headed to Winnipeg Comic Con for our season opening Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament along with our first ever classic fighters tournament. The went very well with some great high moments. Ben Jemson winning the Tekken 8 tournament, Anderson Delaurier-Bell taking second in the SSBU finals, Logan Penner making semis, Skyler Kroeker and Asher Buhler making quarters. Great work gamers! Our next tournament is November 21, stay tuned! |

Pages work in the Assembly Chamber and Committees with Members and Officers of the Assembly. | Crosswalk Safety 2026-11-02 | A quick reminder to all students about the importance of using our crosswalks safely, especially now that our mornings are darker and visibility is reduced. When using the crosswalk with flashing lights, please remember to press the button to activate the lights and wait until traffic has come to a complete stop before crossing. Do not assume that drivers can see you or that vehicles will automatically stop. At the intersection where crossing guards are stationed, please follow their directions and wait for their signal before crossing. They are there to help keep everyone safe. We all have a responsibility to make safe choices when crossing the street. Taking a few extra seconds can make a big difference. |
| Minecraft Build Blast 2026-10-30 | Do you yearn for the mines? Are you a great collaborator and love expressing your creativity through building? Are redstone and codeblocks flowing in your veins? Come to Bear 8 from 4-6pm on Thursdays to get involved on a Minecraft team and start honing your skills. On Saturday, Dec. 5 we will be taking teams to compete in a friendly one-day Build Blast, and will be putting together teams for our month-long February competitive build competition. | University decoded 2026-10-28 | If you are a Gr 12 student thinking about attending University or College next year, don't miss out on an important advising session from your Counsellor! I'm talking about the University decoded presentation running in the Theatre on Tuesday, Nov 10 during periods 3,4 or 5. Learn important Uni lingo that will help you successfully navigate the next steps in your post-secondary application(s) as well as clarify what university course registrations and degree expectations will look like. Each presentation will be approximately 40 minutes in length with a Q & A period at the end. See you there! |

| Reach for the Top 2026-10-26 | Do people seek you out to answer obscure questions? Do you annoy your teacher because you seemingly know everything? Put that knowledge to good use and join the SRSS Reach for the Top team! Reach for the Top is an inter-school trivia competition that pits one high school against another in a fast-paced, question-and-answer, buzzer-filled frenzy. We are looking for students in grades nine through twelve who have in-depth knowledge of the following topics: math, literature, science, history, geography, social studies, philosophy, music, drama, spelling, or pop culture. If you are interested, see Mr. Rohne in Bison 7 or Mr. Unger in Crocus 5 and sign up for our Google Classroom (potdwe5). Practices start in early November on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 pm.
