Graduation Related Costs
This listing is an attempt to clarify some of the costs associated with graduation. The numbers below are approximate and subject to change.

Tickets and Costs
Grad Memorabilia Clothing: Varies
Farewell: TBA
- This is a private event for graduating students and school staff only. No guests are permitted entry.
- Students require photo ID and parent signature at the time of purchase. The parent must be present to purchase the ticket.
Grad Portrait Sitting Fee: $25 (Non-Refundable)
- Due at the time of booking grad portraits
Grad Fee: $100
- Due at the time of booking grad portraits
- Helps cover the costs associated with graduation convocation
Convocation: Free (Entrance Ticket Required)
- Each grad receives 5 complimentary tickets.
- Everyone (except the graduating student) requires a ticket to attend.
- You must present your ticket upon entrance.
Banquet: $50 (Sold In May)
- Tickets for dinner are as specified above.
- Everyone (including the graduating student) requires a ticket.
- You may purchase up to 10 tickets.
- Each table seats 10 people.
- If you wish to sit with another graduate, you must purchase tickets at the same time.

Cinderella’s Closet
SRSS has been gifted formal wear – suit and dresses. These are available for selection to our grads. We are open for shopping in the SRSS Drama Room on the dates and times listed above.

Safe Grad Compliance
To comply with Manitoba Safe Grad measures, the following points are non-negotiable when purchasing Farewell and Safe Grad/Prom tickets:
- All GRADS, regardless of age, must have a parent or guardian sign the forms for Farewell and Prom ticket sales.
- All PROM GUESTS, between the ages of 16-17, must have a parent or guardian sign the forms for Prom ticket sales.
- All PROM GUESTS, between the ages of 18-21 may sign their own forms for the Prom ticket sales.
- All GRADS, PROM GUESTS and PARENT/GUARDIANS, must present a government issued photo ID (driver’s license, enhanced ID or passport) at the time of ticket purchases.
- All GRADS AND PROM GUESTS must have an assigned pick-up person (who will pick you up from farewell and prom) age 21 or older. This person must be approved by a parent or guardian for ALL GRADS and PROM GUESTS under 18, or by PROM GUESTS over 18, at the time of ticket purchase.
- Tickets must be purchased (ID presented, forms signed) during the times and dates given.
Graduation Day
All events will take place at the Convention Centre (RBCC) (see below)

Grad Portraits
When: Friday Nov. 22, 2024 – Wed. Dec. 12, 2024
Where: SRSS
Who: Lifetouch Portrait Photographers
Appointments will be available for booking at the 11/12 office on October 28th. At this time the $125 grad fee (cash or cheque) will also be due. $25 is a non-refundable sitting fee for the grad picture. $100 is the grad fee which helps cover costs of convocation.
Reminder, male students should wear a white collared shirt with a tie.
